RTI Presents "Build Safe and Secure Distributed Systems for Aerospace and Defense" Connext DDS Road Show Series
Attendees Will Learn How to Meet DoD Open Architecture Requirements and Cyber Security Guidance
SUNNYVALE, Calif.—September 17, 2014—Real-Time Innovations (RTI), the real-time Industrial Internet of Things communications platform company, today announced it is hosting a series of Connext DDS Road Shows titled "Build Safe and Secure Distributed Systems for Aerospace and Defense." The first show will be held in Huntsville, Ala. on Sept. 25 followed by two additional shows in King George, Va. on Oct. 1 and Columbia, Md. on Oct. 2.
Cyber security is increasingly mandated for critical infrastructure – from defense to energy to healthcare. At the same time, system architecture must address other technical challenges. Data volumes are increasing, real-time responsiveness is required and safety-critical applications must follow strict guidance for certification. System designs must evolve to satisfy these safety and security requirements without sacrificing performance or reliability. They also must maintain backward compatibility and interoperability with legacy systems.
At this event attendees will learn how to use open standards from the Object Management Group (OMG) to bring legacy systems forward to meet government Open Architecture (OA) guidance while incorporating the latest security technology. OA initiatives include the UAS Control Segment (UCS) architecture and Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) Consortium. RTI Connext DDS Secure, the world's first Data Distribution Service (DDS) solution to address the FAA DO-178C Level A safety standard, will also be covered. This event is for software architects and developers of aerospace and defense applications.
Additional information about the event can be found on the RTI website. For dates, locations and to register for the upcoming events, please see below:
