RTI to Launch Industry-First Product at IoT Solutions World Congress

RTI to Speak on AI’s Impact on the Industrial IoT, Best Practices in Building a Strong Connectivity Architecture in Autonomous Systems and Connected Transport

SUNNYVALE, Calif.— October 8, 2018—Real-Time Innovations (RTI), the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) connectivity company, today announced its participation in IoT Solutions World Congress 2018 in Barcelona, October 16-18. At the event, RTI will be announcing an industry-first product targeted at the IIoT market. RTI Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Stan Schneider, will also be moderating a panel and Dr. Rajive Joshi, Principal Solution Architect at RTI will be leading a speaking session. RTI will also be exhibiting in the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC) Member Pavilion.

On Tuesday, October 16, Dr. Schneider will be moderating a panel titled, “AI and Its Impact on IIoT,” where speakers from Google, iQor and ROWAN Inc. will discuss the evolution of artificial intelligence (AI) technology and how recent developments in AI will allow companies to apply the technology in a much more sophisticated fashion – from automated quality assurance in manufacturing to self-configuring sensor networks. In this panel, the speakers will discuss how AI is being applied to solve real problems in industrial settings, the benefits behind this and some of the lessons learned.

Dr. Schneider was recently re-elected to the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC) Steering Committee for his third term and will represent IIC small company members as the small industry representative. Schneider also serves as Vice Chair of the Steering Committee, a post he was elected to earlier this year. RTI will be exhibiting at the event in Stand 411 at the IIC Member Pavilion.

On Wednesday, October 17, Dr. Joshi will be leading a speaking session titled, “How to Build the Connectivity Architecture for an Automotive System of Systems,” where he’ll discuss the automotive connectivity architecture. He will cover why it remains challenging to meet requirements, such as ensuring trustworthiness, real-time performance, scalability and data availability in the face of disconnected and intermittent connectivity under changing weather conditions. Dr. Joshi will present a next generation automotive connectivity architecture and how it’s being applied to autonomous driving, remote teleoperation and driverless valet parking.

Now in its fourth year, IoT Solutions World Congress will host more than 300 of the best minds in the IoT industry to share use cases on key topics and illustrate how solutions are impacting the industries of the future.
