CEO to Speak on the Commercial Open Architecture Practices Panel with Top Industry Experts
SUNNYVALE, Calif.—October 31, 2014—Real-Time Innovations (RTI), the real-time Industrial Internet of Things communications platform company, today announced its participation in the 2014 Defense Daily Open Architecture Summit held Nov. 4, 2014 in Washington D.C. The annual conference focuses on government efforts to implement open architecture standards and policies across the Department of Defense and other agencies. Attendees will gain knowledge of how the government is currently implementing these open architecture systems and how obstacles are being overcome. Industry experts will discuss how open architecture standards are important, especially in a time of constrained budgets.
RTI CEO, Stan Schneider, will be speaking as part of the Commercial Open Architecture Practices Panel on Tuesday Nov. 4, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. ET. The panel will discuss how the Pentagon and defense industry can learn from the commercial sector as they embrace greater open architecture solutions. Industry experts will review how the automotive industry brought major automakers together to create commonality and openness in navigation systems to make them more readily upgradable and how they resolved differences over property rights.
