RTI Presents "Build Safe and Secure Distributed Systems for the Industrial Internet of Things" Connext DDS Road Show Series
Attendees Will Learn How to Architect Scalable Systems for the Industrial Internet using Open Standards
SUNNYVALE, Calif.—September 19, 2014—Real-Time Innovations (RTI), the real-time Industrial Internet of Things communications platform company, today announced it is hosting a series of Connext DDS Road Shows titled "Build Safe and Secure Distributed Systems for the Industrial Internet of Things." The first show will be held in Boston on Sept. 30 followed by two additional shows in San Diego on Oct. 14 and Irvine, Calif. on Oct. 15.
Updating distributed software architecture is a major undertaking. Understanding the requirements of the system, researching the available technologies and choosing the best approach can be an overwhelming effort. Security, safety and the ability to connect to the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) have also become critical considerations.
At this event, attendees will learn about industry standards and necessary technologies for architecting safe and secure distributed systems. These include TCP/IP sockets, MQTT, OPC and DDS. Using an open discussion format, the event will cover external connectivity, security and other IIoT requirements for developing systems. Internal communication requirements, such as connectivity between components of the control system will also be addressed. This event is for software architects and developers of medical, energy, automotive, manufacturing, and aerospace and defense applications.
Additional information about the event can be found on the RTI website. For dates, locations and to register for the upcoming events, please see below:
