GE Healthcare to Use RTI Connext Middleware as Industrial Internet Transport for Medical Systems

RTI Connext Platform Allows Standardization on Common Platform Across Product Lines

SUNNYVALE, Calif.—August 14, 2014—Real-Time Innovations (RTI), the Industrial Internet of Things communications platform company, today announced that GE Healthcare intends to use RTI's Connext™ Platform as the core communication for new generations of several products. The RTI Connext Platform allows unprecedented connectivity, enabling smarter systems of connected medical devices in hospitals as well as fast integration and connectivity of large medical instruments.
