RTI Connext Evaluation

Please use the following process to download and install RTI Connext.
An email containing your license will make its way to your inbox. Please save this page as it contains the process to download and install RTI Connext.
The installation files for the Connext evaluation are provided in a single installer.

Step 1
Install the Connext host development tools, platform target libraries, security bundles, Real-Time WAN Transport and Cloud Discovery Service by executing the host installer application.

On Windows systems:
rti_connext_dds-7.3.0-lm-<Windows_platform>.exe

On Linux systems:
rti_connext_dds-7.3.0-lm-<Linux_platform>.run

On macOS systems:
rti_connext_dds-7.3.0-lm-<macOS_platform>.dmg

For Linux on Arm CPUs, additional bundles might need to be installed. See Downloads section for details.

Step 2
After the installation is complete, start the RTI Launcher application, select the Configuration tab, and set the location of the trial license file that RTI emailed to you.
Upon completing this step, you are ready to evaluate Connext. Visit Getting Started with Connext for great resources and tutorials, as well as the product documentation below:
- Developer Guide: Learning modules to help you get up and running fast using Connext.
- RTI Security Plugins Getting Started Guide: Supplement to the Connext documentation for getting started with DDS security.
- Cloud Discovery Service User’s Manual: Connext includes an out-of-the-box solution for provisioning discovery in cloud-based environments.
- RTI Real-Time WAN Transport: Connext includes an out-of-the-box solution that can be used to extend Connext DDS capabilities to WAN environments.

By downloading Connext, you acknowledge that you agree to the RTI Software License Agreement.

x86 64-bit

Please note that for Arm CPUs, we support cross-compilation only (via x86 64-bit host). The following Arm bundles contain libraries to support cross-compilation for Arm target platforms via Intel (x86) 64-bit host only. As a prerequisite, you would need to download and install the Linux x86 64-bit bundle first. Next, download the Arm target bundle ⇢ open RTI Launcher ⇢ Configuration tab ⇢ install the downloaded Arm target bundle.
Arm v7
Prerequisite:
x86 64-bit Ubuntu 22.04 LTS/20.04 LTS/18.04 LTS, RHEL 8/9
(disregard if you have already downloaded the x86 64-bit bundle above)
Armv7 target bundle:
Ubuntu 18.04 LTS
(kernel 5.x, gcc 7.5.0)
