Software Connectivity Framework for Modern Avionics Systems
Visit RTI at Aerospace Tech Week to learn how to simplify the development of avionics systems while upholding quality and safety standards. RTI is a leading developer of infrastructure software to integrate and run autonomous and semi-autonomous systems. In booth 618, we will showcase how RTI helps manufacturers save costs while improving interoperability, modularity and time-to-market for modern avionics systems.
RTI Connext offers fast, scalable, reliable and secure communications for open architecture systems across land, sea, air and space domains. Connext is used by A&D system architects around the world to rapidly transmit data across heterogeneous environments. From prototype to production, Connext fast-tracks safety certification through its commercial RTCA DO-178C and EUROCAE ED-12C DAL A certification evidence.
In avionics systems, precise timing and reliable data transmission are essential to ensuring the integrity and safety of mission-critical operations. RTI Connext harmonizes the capabilities of Data Distribution Service (DDS™) and Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) protocols to ensure accurate time synchronization, deterministic communication, and seamless interoperability
Open and Interoperable Connectivity from a Leader in Industry Standards
RTI contributes to a wide range of industry standards including DDS, EuroCAE ED-247 and the Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE™). RTI has contributed to revision B of the EuroCAE ED-247 standard, which now incorporates DDS into its avionics testing framework, enabling reliability and security while improving interoperability and reducing complexity. All Connext products are based on the DDS standard, including Connext TSS, the industry’s first certified FACE Transport Service Segment (TSS) conformant solution.
In-Booth Demonstration
RTI will demonstrate operational flexibility and interoperability through a multi-vendor avionics cockpit display. Stop by booth #618 to see how RTI Connext TSS is integrated with Ansys, ENSCO, QT Group and PACE for robust RTCA DO-178C DAL A certification.
