Products and Components
RTI Data Distribution Service is available in several editions,
each tailored to a particular set of needs:
- RTI Data Distribution Service, Basic
Edition includes the
core middleware libraries and a set of basic utilities for
generating code, testing your connectivity, and examining
network packets. If you need the highest-performing data
distribution system in the world—but you don't need
to record, route, or analyze that data—this is the
edition for you.
- RTI Data Distribution Service, Professional
Edition is
our most popular edition. It features the powerful RTI data
distribution system from the Basic Edition. In addition,
it delivers a rich set of functionality out of the box:
- RTI
Routing Service to bridge networks, topics,
and security domains with integrated administration
and data transformation. RTI Routing Service dramatically
eases the scaling and integration of real-time systems
across Wide Area Networks (WANs) and Systems of Systems
(SoS). It allows applications to communicate seamlessly,
even if they are deployed in different locations or
support different external interfaces. It can be deployed
without any changes to existing applications.
- RTI Recorder for
non-intrusive recording of high-rate data, messages and
events. It can reliably record large amounts of real-time
data from a heterogeneous, networked system without having
prior knowledge of the data types or topics in the system.
Activity recorded by RTI Recorder can be used for such
purposes as analysis, debugging, and regulatory compliance.
- RTI Spreadsheet
Add-in for Microsoft Excel provides turnkey, bi-directional
integration with Microsoft Excel. It allows cells, formulas
and charts to include subscriptions to real-time data
streams, such as market data and sensor data, with values
updated automatically and in real-time. Formula results
can also be published in real-time to other applications
and spreadsheets.
