RTI provides eligible research projects with no-charge licenses to RTI Data Distribution Service, the world's leading implementation of the Object Management Group (OMG) Data Distribution Service for Real-Time Systems standard (DDS).
Most internally funded Independent Research and Development (IR&D), early phase Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and University projects qualify, making it easy for projects with tight time and budget constraints to take advantage of DDS benefits:
Please specify your project type in the "License Type" section.
RTI's no-cost licenses provide projects with the fastest, most efficient and lowest risk path to realizing the benefits of DDS.
Because of the quality of our technology and services, RTI consistently achieves a 98% customer satisfaction rating.
To qualify for a no-cost license, internally funded IR&D projects must be doing only pre-commercial research or pre-award development. Allowable uses include development of demonstrations, proofs of concept, bids, statements of work and proposals.
Government-funded research must be under an initial phase of a small-business program such as an early-phase SBIR.
Licenses are provided to Universities for non-profit, educational use by full-time students and professors. This includes research and classroom applications. See the University Program overview for more information on RTI's no-cost University licenses.
